I am proud to say my partner and I have come together to create the premier running, cross training, and walking store, Running World.


What makes Running World Dana Point Different?


We are fitters not sales people, which means:

We will qualify you for each product.
Never pushing anything that you don't need,
Never pushing anything that is not exactly fitted and customized to you.

We have a Nordstrom's style flexible return and exchange policy. This is because we stand behind our product and it is our guaranty that we will get the fit right.


We piece the shoe around your foot as a system. This includes tying tricks you will find nowhere else.

We fit socks! We have our own special algorithm to match you to the perfect socks.

If we find that you need them, we use custom orthotic techniques to fit insoles to your foot. This includes both accommodating and functional methods as modified from a midtarsal/subtalar neutral position We analyze both the foot and what the shoe already has built in to determine what insole will fill the rest of your individual need to give custom results.
We also modify insoles to customize them to your foot and shoe at no extra cost.

We will bring our unique fitting system to shop with you for any of your other footwear needs that can not be met at our store.




Our gait analysis is by far the most advanced and in depth fitting system out there. Unlike our competitors we don not fit by rearfoot pronation alone. We fit by rearfoot pronation, toe flexibility (resupination), pronitory twist, weight distribution, the structure of the leg, foot, and hips, the strength of the lower core, and lastly we fit by a 9 point foot shape system (not just by width and length).




We will coach you on running form, exercises, and stretches, that match your personal gait type.
